Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin will be showcasing Pharrell Williams’ latest artistic creation which addresses the theme of war, The Tank Chair, at Colette on March 22nd to the 28th followed by the Emmanuel Perrotin gallery on March 30th to April 24th. The Tank Chair consists of 4 models, baby pink, white transparent, baby blue and black, which are made of Plexiglass and foal or calf. 8 limited edition pieces of each Tank Chair model have been created.

Four-wheel drive, ceramic brakes and a new suspension design allows the car to be steered in a graceful manner. The 16C Galibier features a Bugatti radiator grille, LED headlights, a split rear window, an eight tailpipe exhaust system and a Swiss made Parmigiani Fleurier dashboard clock that can be transformed into a wrist watch, pocket watch or table clock.”

Earlier today, the NRJ Awards went down in Cannes, France and Skateboard P honored Bey with her award. Again, pardon the french.
Teddy Bear was laid to rest today in Philly and Black Ty did more than just pay his respects. Hey, I didn’t know Tyrese was playing Pendergrass in an upcoming biopic either. Interesting.
In the Jan/Feb 2010 issue of Spin, the magazine crowns the pride of Toronto “Rapper Of The Year”. His collabo with Trey Songz on “Successful” earned him the #10 spot for Top 20 Best Songs while his LP EP So Far Gone snagged the #9 spot for Top 40 Best Albums.

On Monday, Bun B is hosting a “Houston For Haiti” benefit concert for the victims of Tuesday’s earthquake. The show takes place at Warehouse Live in Houston and starts at 4 P.M. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased here. All proceeds will go directly to the Haiti relief fund through CARE. Confirmed guests include Slim Thug, Trae The Truth, ESG, Lil O, Candi Redd, Just Brittany, Corey Mo and The Party Boyz.
