“Bugatti finally unveiled their brand new Atlantic Black 16C Galibier concept at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Unlike many other concepts, the Bugatti 16C Galibier actually has a good chance of going into production and is expected to be available by 2012 for as much as $1.5 million. With a gorgeous design, this luxury 4 door sedan packs a 8.0-liter 16-cylinder engine with two-stage supercharging and can reach speeds of 220 mph. Four-wheel drive, ceramic brakes and a new suspension design allows the car to be steered in a graceful manner. The 16C Galibier features a Bugatti radiator grille, LED headlights, a split rear window, an eight tailpipe exhaust system and a Swiss made Parmigiani Fleurier dashboard clock that can be transformed into a wrist watch, pocket watch or table clock.”

Bape just released a specially themed capsule with their 2010 spring/summer collection with a British “Mods” theme. If you don’t know who or what mods are I’ll school you. Mods were a subculture that orginated in London in the late 1950s and was at its peak in the mid 60s they were all about dressing sharp, riding scooters, listening to Jamiacan ska music and getting into lots of fights(which is generally a british thing anyway).
The collection features a fishtail parka jacket and lots of anglo-centric jackets on crewnecks and t-shirts. The collection is finished off with a few patches and hats. It’s available now at Bape stores worldwide.
Shades are always a good look if you got the money to blow then take a look at a pair of Oliver People Daddy B sunglasses ($325) they kinda look like Ray Bans to me, if your pockets aren’t that fat then check out a pair of Cassius Aalto sunglasses ($160) in moss/brown. Oliver Peoples’ Daddy B shades are slowly becoming the go to accessory among celebs because they’ve been spotted on Jay-Z
hit the jump to see Melanie Fiona and Trey Songz rockin these shades| Read the rest of this entry »
So the legendary Baseline studios has run its course and is sadly closing down. It’s funny because I was just listening to the College Dropout and on the track “Last Call” Kanye was talking about getting his start with Jay and Dame in Baseline working out the Dynasty and Blueprint album. Here’s what Kanye has to say about their closing.
“Nike is bringing back a model that was forgotten about until now. The Nike Air Carnivore was released in 1993, the same year as Jurassic Park, which made most people think that the kicks were inspired by the film. The Air Carnivore will be released in it’s original colorway of Black/Olive/Purple soon along with another colorway to be released in the Summer. Look for them at Nike retailers in the upcoming months.”
If you have a thing for the Air Jordan VIII then they’re a nice cop
I listened to an old Jamie Foxx track the other day and realized this dude is really a triple threat he sings acts and is funny as hell. Some actors try to rap and sing but are unsuccessful and alot of rappers or singers try to act but none of them do it better than Jamie. Not to mention he does his comedy shit once in a while. This dude makes hit and will probably never fall off. Check out the track that inspired this post certified baby maker!

Let me start by saying hip-hop is not dead as depressing as the game is there are still a bunch of fresh faces keeping it alive. Hundreds of mixtapes drop everyday and only the hot ones really get recognized at the best. Then you got the Mixtapes that sounds like album maybe even better than their actually album. I know everyone and their mamas heard Drake’s “So Far Gone” which boosted him to Mainstream stardom, then you have one of my favorites J. Cole’s “The Warm” then there’s Trey Songz “Anticipation” which had the ladies going crazy over. Artist and material like that is the shit that keeps the game alive and kickin’ so if you wanna make it and keep least some dignity and respect make your mixtape material just as good as your actually ALBUM because Mixtapes that sound like Albums is Whats Popular!
This edition of What Was Popular is longgggg over due. I am proud to say Myspace?!? #offthat, Myspace definitely is What was popular because as you get older you realize it’s just a booty call the only thing myspace is good for nowadays is to bag an easy chick haha. Nobody has time to spend hours looking for a new background and its flooded with drama and in mirror flicks. If you haven’t hopped on the facebook or twitter wave #killyourself because Myspace is on its way out!

New comer to the game Wale has definitely made a big impression with his hitmaking ability and lyrical skill but first and foremost his style/kick game is out of control. On the set of his new video Pretty Girls he is sporting a multicolored varsity jacket by Cassete Playa in collaboration with Nike Sportswear. I see these jackets gaining some serious ass popularity in the near future. Check out some more pics of the jacket and BTS of “Pretty Girls” below
